Maria Doyle Kennedy (born 25 September 1964) is an Irish actress who portrays Ila on Prime Video's The Wheel of Time.

General overview[]

Kennedy is known for her television roles such as Queen Catherine of Aragon in The Tudors, Vera Bates in Downton Abbey, Siobhán Sadler in Orphan Black, and Jocasta Cameron in Outlander.

Kennedy was at the table read in January 2020.[1] Kennedy's casting as Ila was announced on July 22, 2020, with her character name misspelled as "Illa".[2]
